Patients work on incremental, intentional changes in behavior to enhance personal and family functioning. About Victoria Kim
My Experience
Victoria is a licensed clinical social worker who received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Illinois and her master’s in social work at Washington University in St. Louis. While at Washington University, Victoria specialized in children and family therapy.
Victoria has worked as a special education social worker for 24 years. Her experience ranges from Autism, severe behavior disorders, speech and language disorders as well as intellectual disabilities. Through this work, she addresses issues of depression, grief, bullying, anxiety, family functioning, social skills, social thinking, cognition, LGBTQ and future planning. She uses this knowledge to coach families in how to best support their children to develop socially and emotionally. She also helps families with IEPs, 504 plans, Puns funding and SSI eligibility.
