Rene Nekic
LCSW, Clinical Supervisor
My Approach
Rene’s therapeutic approach is rooted in the idea that every individual walking into our office already possesses strengths and qualities that are crucial to them reaching their ultimate goals. As a clinician, Rene aims to work alongside patients to help them leverage these strengths into change to create the life they seek. The relationship between the patient and therapist is crucial to that change, along with an environment that is supportive, inviting, and comforting to each individual. Rene believes in meeting patients where they are at without judgment. Rene believes patients of all ages come to therapy as experts in their own life experience and Rene will appropriately customize treatment goals and therapeutic interventions to each individual’s specific needs. Rene utilizes therapeutic modalities that are rooted in client-centered mindsets including cognitive-behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, and motivational interviewing.
