About Isabella Templeton
My Experience
Isabella’s journey in psychology began at Mary Baldwin University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and found her passion in the curiosity of human behavior. As a current student at Adler University pursuing her Psy.D degree, she is driven by a deep-rooted desire to help those in need. During her past externship at a psychiatric hospital, Isabella gained valuable experience working with a diverse population dealing with severe trauma and behavioral issues. Her previous externship led her to conduct psychological testing evaluations and lead group therapy for children, teenagers and adults. Through this experience, Isabella encountered a wide array of diagnoses, including psychosis, depression, anxiety, autism, eating disorders, and dementia, while gaining a deeper understanding of overlapping symptoms within ADHD, PTSD, and Autism. This diverse exposure has shaped Isabella into a dedicated and knowledgeable student clinician ready to go on this therapeutic journey with you.
